Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a lovely, well-rested break. I dont know about you but I’m personally having a real struggle getting back into the swing of things & really struggling to find any motivation to do anything other than binge watch netflix. I’m hoping it will pass but holiday blues are at an all time high.
Me and Jake spent New Year in Rome; it’s become our yearly tradition to go away for New Year as we both love traveling, we feel like we have to see in the New Year in a new and exciting place and see how other countries celebrate. Although this tradition of ours is bloody amazing, it makes coming back to reality in January way more difficult.
Any how, Rome was insane. So beautiful, with characterful buildings everywhere. And the food was also great. We stayed in Monti, considered the ‘trendy’ area of Rome. It’s packed with lovely bars and eateries and is only a short walk from the colosseum.
I couldn’t really do a ‘travel guide’ style post for Rome, because if i’m being brutally honest I forgot to take pictures at most of the places we ate at and I wanted to just enjoy the trip rather than think about what I could include in the post (poor excuse of a blogger lol) but I recently got a new camera and have been enjoying using it SO much so I thought i’d put together a little photo diary from my trip. I hope you enjoy.
& if you do have any questions about Rome then just message me via instagram :)
