During our (me and Jake) time in Copenhagen we stayed in an Air b&b located in Osterport which is a 15 minute walk from Kobenhavn and a short train journey from the centre of Copenhagen. This was our first air b&b experience and it was a good'en. We stayed in a ladies apartment (Dorthe) who we never actually met her but her apartment was to die for! her minimalistic, Scandi style was evident throughout her apartment. I was in my element.

The first thing I'd like to recommend as soon as you get there is to hire a bike (if it's summer) as the bike culture there is huge and it's so much easier and cheaper to get around. We hired one for less than Β£20 during our time from a bike shop located near our apartment. They are literally on every street so you shouldn't have trouble finding one.I would also suggest not to hire the city bikes even though as they're far too expensive.)

Free Christiana:

We firstly visited Free town Christiana.

Freetown Christiana is a independent and car-free neighbourhood in Copenhagen. It was established in 1971 by a group of hippies who occupied some abandoned military barracks on the site and developed their own set of society rules, completely independent of the Danish government and is a must see while in Copenhagen. Unfortunately you can't take photos whilst inside hence why i have none above.

Superkilen:

I think this must be the most instagrammed park ever but theres a reason for this. Its super cool and you can get some great photos their. It has a great urban vibe and is one to visit if your passing.

Hay House:

This was one of my favourite visits during Copenhagen, I came out b

ursting

with interior ideas and inspiration. I literally could have moved right in and never left. The colours, patterns, lighting and basically just the whole place was perfect. If you love interior

design, this place will be your heaven. Its a must visit whilst in Copenhagen and i can't wait to visit again when i'm over there!

Osterport Docks:

This was located only a 5 minute bike ride away from our apartment and was where we spent Jakes birthday evening before we ventured out to get some food and drinks. We arrived just in time for the sun set and it was truly beautiful and peaceful.

Rosenborg Castle:

We also spent a day at Rosenborg Castle and gardens which was lovely. Its the oldest and most visited park in Copenhagen. Luckily when we went it was a glorious day and so we sat on the grass for hours and met up with some friends which we met whilst in Berlin. The atmosphere and scenery is amazing and you could easily spend a full day in there.
